Probably will never get any updates and with Mediatek soc no developer support for aftermarket firmware. I'll personally wait for Oreo Project treble phone (Mediatek or whatever) or buy a Nokia.

For the price, it's not as bad as you guys make it out to be. It all depends on your needs, and it's a good entry level phone where it has decent specs for the price
