Not sure if I'm being dof or what. Just downloaded a 45meg zip file from Vodacom's website, only to find it's got a file called "VMC_7.00.0015.0.iso" which seems to extract into nothingness.

I have the Huawei E620 with version 6.xx and am trying to download version 7 off VC's site. Is it just me being stoopid, or is this file corrupt on the web?

Please forgive my continual stupidity. Did that and it still sits there as a ".iso" which my machine does nothing with?

Well, I'm a Linux user, so I'm not entirely sure on how to do it,

But you need to burn it as a cd image, not as a file.
Nero (or any other semi-decent cd burning app) should have an option something like "Create CD from image" or "Burn disk from image"

Hope this helps..

Thanks to all for replying, but I took the easy way out and went back to the Vodashop who suddenly found a v.7 CD. Downloading all these nice goodies tends to get a bit bandwidth happy.

Other people may have the same problem, and will hopefully benefit from the advice here.

Cheers!! :D

Does V7 work with the Options card? Reason I ask is the site was still showing v6 for that specific card when I last looked.

Version 7 works with all 3 cards... but the option card also works fine with version 6
