VERY happy so far

Moemfie, jong, die toring is doners vinnig hier binne-in Centurion! Ek het amper in my broek gebol toe my download begin hardloop teen 120kbps!

Ek is baie tevrede.

Noone, saw your deleted post, seriously, not everybody that has something good to say about their service work for IBurst... Eish man, less conspiracy theory, and more objectivity please.

I am also on the Centurion tower, and have had minimal problems.

Maybe I've spoken too soon ... my speed is terrible today ... not even reaching 200kb/s on Telkom site

I am in Lonehill (Fourways), and i have had iBurst running since Monday. I am very happy, and suprisingly have had more problems setting up wifi to work half decently, and not iBurst. I definitly agree that it is probably one of the best broadband solutions in SA atm.

Thats the point there are no options here in the k@k SA !!

CraigSA, in my mind, if it were cheaper, iBurst could compete quite well in a global marketplace, caus seriously, i havent had any issues at all. I mean i honestly see iBurst being avaliable properly, even at these speeds, but at lower prices. But then again lower prices overseas arent a problem, caus they dont have telscum

I also think that iBurst should lower prices - especially now with the ADSL price drops and those that are coming in August (I believe?). Furthermore, I really wish that after price drops that they would add larger packages - if I REALLY restrict myself/my urges; I can make it to about 3/4 of a month without hitting my 9gb cap.
Even though this is only my second month - and being shaped last month for that week wasn't -all- bad; I still wish they would introduce GB packages like ADSL has. (i.e. 20GB, 30GB, Unlimited - etc.)

They wont drop the prices right after they rose them, remember before launch the prices were lower and that was just 2 months ago.

You can buy more bandwith and that costs practically the same as it would if they made larger packages.

Lastly you mention ADSL like its a brand name or something but it's not Telkom offering 30GB packages, its virtual ISPs who buy alot of accounts up and resell them knowing some people will reach the cap and others wont, so the light users subsidise the heavy ones. So if you want that you need to get a company to go talk business with WBS and do the same thing, basically I'm saying it wouldn't be up to WBS just liek it wasn't up to Telkom, we need enterprising companies/individuals to see a niche and buy some accounts up.

As for unlimited, yeah that would be cool, during prelaunch when there was no cap that was awesome but I think thats why WBS is going to cap for a while, because they now have a final product being sold and they need all that fancy stuff they bought to be paid for with profit first. Unless of course they had customers willing to pay enough for uncapped access to still pay for all the costs they threw at this business so far... which they dont. In other words, its not going to happen anytime soon.
