very strange MMS problem

So I cant receive an MMS from one specific phone... it doesnt make sense

I have a blackberry and my friend has a Nokia

I can send to the Nokia, and it comes though no problem!

I can also send to other people, and receive from other people... But for the life of me I cant receive from this one friend with this Nokia?!?!?

oh and worth mentioning that other ppl can receive (and do receive) from this specific annoying Nokia phone! haha!

So im confused

any ideas?

Is he on a different network? Do you get a message on your blackberry saying something to the effect of "message not retrieved yet"

its a 076 number so I assume that is also vodacom. Im using a 072 number

I get no message at all saying anything... I just dont get it

im testing with all the phones in the office now, and they all working!!!

Are you able to receive SMS's from this Nokia/number? MMS uses sms to send the mms notification.

Certain phones have a message block list feature. If there is a number configured in this block list then the phone automatically deletes the message received from this number....without notifying the user.

Also check under mms settings for an option "reject message from unknown source" or something similar. I came across this feature on some handsets.

I can get smses from this number no problem! Just not MMS

I checked my phone to see if something was wrong, but all the "reject anon" settings are not ticked, otherwise I would NOT have got all the MMS test messages earlier from like 5 people in the office :-/

I just tried getting the vodacom settings again now to the Nokia, and tried to send MMS and still didnt work... It sends fine, its just not getting to my phone
