Hi Guys
So Im a bit worried about my cat on saturday I gave him a drumstick bone.
Just planned to let him gnaw on it but he didn't seem interested so i left it on the floor for the moment and returned to my food.

A few minutes later i heard this crunching and he was already halfway through devouring the bone.
He is eating, breathing normal.I can pick him up he doesn't cry but he hardly ever made a sound whole time iv had him literally the cat has his tongue.
Sleeping a lot but not unusual for him and zooming about once in a while.
He still performs his high jumping feats.

.What has me worried is his stool was black the first day its better now with mostly brown with some black streak here and there..he sits a bit hunched up but i have seen him sitting like that before his purring more this is unusual for him as his a bit grumpy most of the time..
.Am i stressing needlessly?Took this pic now his sleeping right next to me

For now I'm just monitoring him closely.
Thank you for any replies

Take it to the vet immediately... why on earth would you give the cat drumstick bones... those things splinter and can tear the cats throat and stomach. Black stool prob means blood in the digestive system somewhere.

Can't put a price on a pet's life.

Just put it on the credit card even if it means maxing it out, take him to the Vet ASAP.
