Okay, I am fed up with Viagra e-mails.

I receive these e-mails from another sender each time. It doesn't help to block them, so how can this be stopped?

It would have been okay if I needed viagra, but I don't have the necessary 'tools' for it.....

Any ideas will be welcome :)

Set up a gmail adress. Set up the gmail account to check your pop3 email address and to retrieve the mail. Then you retrieve your mail from gmail with outlook. voila. no spam.

yup, once you get spam it will never stop. e-mail change is the only surefire way.

and register an additional webmail address you use for any sites on the internet that require registration.

hmmm will be tricky to change my name, but thanks guys. I will try the option with g-mail.

As far as I know g-mail is blocked on the network, so chances are good it will not work.

+1 This is what I did, really works well

I replied to a few saying "Clearly you haven't seen how BIG this thing gets"

I never get viagra e-mails anymore.

It's about confidence people ;)

Uhm...and they will believe I have it, right?

Nah, g-mail looks like the only option left for me but thanks anyway. :)

So this thread to the network admin and explain to him that it will make his job a lot easier if he lets gmail help fight the spam/malware/mail virusses. It certainly saves me a lot of work everyday

What is strange is that the SP told me that they block g-mail because that is the way viruses comes into then network.

How true is that?

I wasn't kidding... have you seen how big this thing gets? :)

I'll show you sometime.

Bleh, ignore me Angelica, I'm frustrated, I'll probably show TUX if he asked nicely... and that's just sad!

Don't worry, I believe you :)
