Victor Borge

Brilliant! I've always loved his act. I have not watched this completely, but I'm sure him spaking with punctuation part is in there :D

At one stage in his career Victor's act included a staged falling off the piano stool.

Out to dinner one night, he couldn't attract a waiter's attention to place his order.

So he fell off his chair ...

He was immediately surrounded by the maître, waiters etc. all very concerned for his welfare.

He stood up, brushed himself down, looked around at all of staff and said "Now that you are here do you think that you could take my order ?"

The "plus one" language is also there...

anyone = anytwo
today = threeday
before = befive
etc

Inflationary language. The part where the clock strikes is side splitting. My face aches from laughing.
