A little insight goes a long way
I'm in the market for a video camera and I'm a total noob with the camera scene so I need some advice.
The camera's use will be for home video type of stuff, like birthdays, holiday trips, baby memories etc. I prefer something that can record at least in 1080p since all our TV's have that resolution.
My search so far has come out with either a Canon Legria HF-R56 or Canon Legria HF-R506, which is basically the same camera but the 506 is ~R1.2k cheaper due to not having built in memory (8GB) and wifi (which seems more like a gimmick than anything else). Do USB3 camera's even exist in SA and is it worth it to get them?
Then there's also the SD card, and I'm choosing between an ADATA 128GB Premier Pro UHS-I U1 Class 10 SDXC Card and a Kingston 128GB UHS-I Class 10 SDXC Card. Will the R400 price difference be worth it in my case?
Any help will be highly appreciated, I need to get this as soon as possible.
