Hi people, so after a long day of filming yesterday, I get home and simply fell off to sleep.
This morning I wake up, get my life together and get onto my PC to get some work done. I unleash my memory card reader, insert my 128gb card, plugged it into the pc and I waited. 2 minutes pass by, I'm still waiting. 5 minutes pass, still waiting. At exactly 8:59, the computer tells me it can't read the device and it needs to be formatted.

From past experiences, I can safely say it is F^ck3d, I just want to know is there any good file recovery software out there, software that can pull at minimum, 4gb file sizes? I need to recover the footage from my shoot yesterday, luckily it was an interview so I can go back to client and ask for some time to re-shoot which will be my last option.

You can try inserting and reinserting again, try on another computer, try and access through linux. I use TestDisk to recover files.

try hirens boot disc, I have used it on a memory card before. Can't remember which option exactly though.

Good Luck.
