A buddy phoned me today, told me he got an olp pc from someone. Its a pentium 2 on windows melinium. He installed video codecs, but al video clips show upside down. Dvd's show correct, just video clips. I told him the only answer i have,is to turn the screen upside down. : D pls help

If you check in the codec settings there might be a "flip screen" option or something like that, check and see if that works.

Thanks, but where do I go to get the codec settings?

I play my videos in winamp, while videos playing if you go to view file info it lists the codecs, double click on them and u can change the settings.

Thanks,I'll try tomorrow and see what I can do. Thats why I hate these old diesel pc models, they just give me headaches.

Uninstall all codecs and install ffdshow instead.

ffdshow is a codec suite (open source to boot) that will decode anything you care to throw at it - both video and audio! The only thing that I don't use it for is XviD / DivX / MPEG4 ASP - for those I prefer using the actual XviD binary. There's a plethora of options to set.

If that doesn't help, PM me and I'll help u sort it out

Has he tried VLC?
