Greetings Penguin Lovers!

I took a HD out of a machine that had dual boot installed, namely Linux Mint (primary) and then lower down the list was a W7 installation.

I have this HD now in a portable USB HD casing and wish to plug it into my W10 laptop in the hope of being able to view the files from my laptop.

Sooooooo......... What do I need to be running on my PC to do this?

There are several utilities that allow you to mount a Linux partition.
Since I haven't used Windows in several years I forget the name.. but its a simple little program you install and it mounts the drive which can then be seen in regular Windows Explorer.

Virtualbox with Linux installed on there........or, boot from a linux live usb?

There is also software that can convert from one file system to another. But that's more permanent.
