Vikings

He got his wish. Not sure who the main character is going to be next. His first son?

Why? They drean about how they are going to die since birth so you should be happy that he got his wish.

Yes yes I know, I knew it was inevitable that it was going to happen, just didn't expect it to happen so soon.

Just read up on him. Pretty amazing that someone with a disability in the dark ages could be successful.

Yeah I love this story. His disability has caused him pain and anger but gave him a different way of thinking than the rest.
Plus, not sure if you saw him sparring with his brothers in the forest... he is a beast in comparison to his brothers. Imagine if he wasn't crippled. :D

Personally, I don't think he had a disability.

The Sagas claim that he led berserkers in to action. Frontline warriors known for their ferocity. In this roll he was noted to have towered above his own men and he was also said to have been an expert with the longbow. The longbow being a weapon that required an extreme amount of force to use. I can't see a feeble individual being capable of any of this.

Also, as a warrior people, I can't see Vikings following a feeble man. A Viking that couldn't wield a weapon and take the battlefield would never ascend to Valhalla, destined to die a shameful death.

In my opinion, the source of the nickname is either;
- Due to him being double-jointed,
- Due to him being seemingly impervious to injury and/or pain, being relatively unharmed by blows and falls that would affect lesser men. This would tie in with his reputation as such a ferocious warrior (having led berserkers), or
- A result of his sudden death following the rapid onset of an unknown illness. He may have received his nickname in later-life following the onset of some sort of degenerative disease that rendered him immobile or prone to injuries.

Today's vikings episode was the ****. Going to be a long week waiting for the next one.

Is it the last episode ever?

It's like they wanted this season to move super fast.
I can't see that they can close off all the storylines in one episode.
Ragnar's revenge can be brought to a close, but the story of Kattekat is only kicking off now.
