Vikings

The production value is not as high as Spartacus but I enjoyed it. Maybe because I watched 3 episodes in a row. The story is fast moving and there is blood, politics and own the speak their wn language of English so I would say if you enjoy Spartacus you would enjoy this. Although like I said it has no nudity.

Why watch Spartacus if not for the sex? :p

Well Spartacus' characters language and characters behaviour fits in how it would have been in medieval time periods which makes it more realistic and ejoyable. Although what distracted me in the prev episode was the fake rugs worn by the girls were ridiculous in size.

Why the obsession with nudity in series? Can't a series be deemed good anymore if there's no nudity in it?

I have watched all 3 episodes so far and love this show. It has great potential.

The language in Spartacus makes it unwatchable for me. It's pseudo Shakespearean bollocks.

Episode 4 is out. Quite enjoying the English getting their arses handed to them.

I love the language! It makes me relook at how I speak. Their metaphors rocked. Is it really pseudo Shakespearean? I thought it was more following latin sentence structure.

I guess fictional accounts qualify since they already have Ancient Aliens.

Actually quite a bit of historical facts in the series:

Main character Ragnar Lodbrok :

Lindisfarne was apparently the first official recorded Viking raid:

Interesting series

Okay, before I waste my time trying to get this. There was this horrible Viking movie a while back, where Thor and some other vikings discover Newfoundland and then later fight were wolfs etc. Is this at least better than that.
