I have an Intel AL440LX (Atlanta) motherboard with 192Mb RAM and a 266MHz Intel 2 CPU.

However, I need a PCI video card.

Do anybody have a working PCI video card for this motherboard?

I will appreciate it if you do, we can arrange something.

Target environment will be plain DOS (FreeDOS) with a couple of DOS-based wordprocessors, games and windows 3.1.

Just for old times' sake.

I will check what I have laying around.

I just want to first get a dual boot Windows 98 SE and Windows XP up and running. Will see what I have left.

Even the upgrade disc is better for than not having Windows 98 SE.

Digged around for some old cd-rw discs, and found this, still unopened and unused Office2007 pro package... Offers are welcome should anybody want a genuwyne copy of Office2007...

At this stage I have two concurrent projects :

- Pentium2 mobo for use with FreeDOS. Waiting for a video card.
- Pentium 4 mobo for use with OS/2 so that I can run DOS and Windows apps without any worries.

WIll keep you guys updated as I go on. This flat UI shyte is getting far too much now.

Ebbeh. OS/2 being OS/2 it refuses to boot on the faster Intel CPU.

Will work on the P2 as I had it running on it yonkers ago.

I see you a sucker for punishment, while you at it, install a token ring card and drivers.

Unlikely if 4 has an issue my guess. Ugh… drivers for warp

Or some .sys driver can't find what it expects on the motherboard and kaks itself...

2000 or Me?

You would watch a DVD, blue screen. Look at it with a massive side eye, blue screen.
You'd eject a cd while ready it, blue screen.

In my personal experience.

Most blue screens in order:
Windows 98 (non se)
Windows ME
Windows 95
Windows 98 SE

Since NT based Windows, I don't really count them anymore
