Violin Spiders

Get Doom powder and sprinkle it thickly along window sills and behind cupboards and in any hole you can find and especially ... under the bed

violin spiders? get a couple of drum beetles... start up a band :D

I have cats and kids..is there anything else?

Well then stay away from areas the cat frequent and only sprinkle it in holes. I doubt the cat will go an lick behind cupboards. And tell the kids to stay the f away from that white powder.

Few band name suggestions:

Papa Roach?
Alien Ant Farm?
The Hives?

EDIT: and lets not forget about Sting as well...:D

I remember ant traps (green disc), is there anything like that for spiders. I would appreciate serious replies as I have read that the bites can be deadly or lead to serious tissue necrosis/scarring etc. I am really worried so no more fluff please:(

Doom Fogger - get some. Then fumigate your home with it. It'll kill everything inside the home including your cat, so take everyone & cat for a hour drive somewhere while the fogger does its magic. Now you just need to establish a perimeter around your house (eg. use long lasting doom/whatever and spray it all around the house, windows and any small holes in the ceiling etc) and you are good to go.

The problem with that stuff is that it has an adverse affect on certain people. I can't breath and get asthma like attacks when somebody sprayed it in the same room as me

Aha sounds like plan. I'll investigate Id13! Thx. Pity about the derails though as this might have been a usefull thread. Oh well..sigh:(
