Virgin, Cell C deal safe?

Vodacom and MTN would not agree to Virgins terms......50% split of profits on all the revenue they generate.

Cell C are still a little nervous with this deal, but with number portability around the corner there is going to be a great shake up.

This is what Virgin are good at, taking companies with good potential and maximising that potential. Cell C is ripe for taking and moulding better. Vodacom and MTN are too set in their ways a protective of their profits. Aside from that the fact that Vodacom seem to have morphed into Vodaphone recently..
If Virgin do move into the moble market here, I'll go up and sign a contract with them (currently sans contract, as I resent having to divulge an entire financial history for an overpriced phone) just to support them.

I have great faith in Vrigin brands and they would be just what SA needs in it's consumer market..
