Virgin GPRS online|offline?

Port to a diff SP.I am.Coz im done putting up with this ****.I realised that you get what you pay for. R2 a meg thjat always works with 3g is better than 50c a meg than works half the time
Good luck with Vodacom, atm they aren't any competition in terms of reliability for Virgin. Better to go with an MTN data bundle if you are even willing to pay more for better service.

If you are using 500 + MB then a data bundle works out cheaper than 50c per MB:)

Thats why I prefer VM. I use it if I go somewhere for a weekend sometimes. Or if the ADSL is down for some reason.

So in other words: My needs are Erratic, only for short-terms and involves little usage. VM works out cheaper for that 30/40MB now and again - If they are online when I need them.

By my calculations anything from 420MB works out cheaper on a bundle.
420 x 45 (what Virgin charges more or less) = R189
Then you have the extra bytes which you may as well use up.

lol - offfline last night around 8.30 - 9.30 (gave up).

Frustration and road rage. This is how i feel when i cannot connect, particularly when i must do internet related stuff and i cannot. I'm frustruated beyond belief, and, i feel much rage towards this ****ing internet thing when its down.

Virigns interent is a mish-mash.

This Internet Highway has also driven me to road rage sometimes...

It's a pain I know. But the days that VC is offline and VM is online and Running at high speeds, I smile wide :D

Shhhhh, don't tell Antowan. It could burst his "Virgin is Super" bubble :D

also i notice that virgin is now a bit slower then before

That’s due to ever increasing clients base I think.
Simple Economics 101:
The demand is rising the whole time, but the supply is not growing at all. This causes shortage and thus decreased speeds.

But at R0.50/MB, I'm not complaining :)

wonder if virgin will get rid of the 50c per meg after the data network becomes reliable/ get enuff subs...
