Virgin GPRS online|offline?

On my side VM GPRS was OK during the weekend. Last night about 19h00 it was slower, but not for long.

It's OK now as well.

On my side today, VM gprs was and still is slow up to this moment.

Lots of timeouts and disconnections.

I am not on VM at the moment. Why not? Cause I was hoping for them to load my VRewards "at month end".
"Air Time left R .00."

Cannot even report on the quality of VM at the moment.

IMHO Virgin should give everyone some reward just for putting up with their tosh.
It is good today though, but I'm not holding thumbs.

My "more stable" is seen against VM being totally dead most of the previous weeks.

Online|offline, I can't decide, earlier I could connect, but couldn't resolve any DNS queries so no browsing. It is working now though.

At some point with VM each 4th connect gave me a dead DNS. Thats why I always Know this IP: 66.36.247.82

But VM did it job this weekend. Had a hickup or two, nothing serious. But I blame Stilbaai for that - Not enough people to overflow the towers there.

Port to a diff SP.I am.Coz im done putting up with this ****.I realised that you get what you pay for. R2 a meg thjat always works with 3g is better than 50c a meg than works half the time

@mooey1232003, the jump from 50c/MB to R2/MB is just too big. VM is the one I would rather use

Of course [depending on your usage] a data bundle on one of the other mobile networks may work out cheaper

They've had plenty of time to come up with a fix for these probs. Now surely you must be convinced that they just don't know what's cutting!!
