Virgin Mobile DOES STEAL airtime!

Hey guys. Please, I'm not here to argue with you. We all have our own point of view of Virgin Mobile. Like I said, if you have a problem PM me the details and I'll forward it to Virgin Mobile.;)

Why not post the e-mail for the Virgin people and we can cut out the middlemen ;)
I'll start off with a good one...

(Head Cust. Services)

That's very nice of you Skeptik. Seems like my job is done here on MYADSL seeing that you post the e-mail addresses of the people at Virgin Mobile.
I could've post everybodies e-mail addresses here as well but I was just trying to help them out.

I'm just glad I was able to help all you guys out.

ah well, you were the one with the issue about me since the first day I started to help you guys get your new sims. But I understand why, your nickname says it all. Skeptik. Very "skeptikal" about everything.

Well VM seem to have been undercharging me for data lately, especially on sessions where I transfer quite a bit, so can't complain there :D

Hellopeter then?

Why dont you put your complaint on www.hellopeter.com They ARE registered on that site as a company who responds AND i would LOVE to see what their reply is...

VM need to write into their terms and conditions form...
"And if there is a problem that our helpful assistants can't deal with, please ask that piesang on MyADSL.co.za to ask another representative for you."
Sorry - they really do need to look into this. :D

LOL
We won't ask him how he got his nickname ;)
{He's a bit sensitive, poor lad}

@Wallace, did you try e-mailing the chief chumps at VM? (see previous threads for addresses).

I object to this personal attack on Piesang. I also object to him acting like an over-zealous school prefect and attempting to position himself as an intermediary between us and Virgin Mobile's official channels. I believe his actions are well intentioned, but by bypassing the official channels our complaints are never logged. Virgin Mobile needs a record of customer complaints. As customers we also need to be able to escalate our own problems should the call centre not be of assistance. Which is why I applauded the release of the contact information here: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=54814

If our complaints still go unheard, we need to keep going up through management. I wish I had Richard Branson's email address. My email to him would go something like this:

Dear Sir Richard Branson

Virgin Mobile's arrival in South Africa was highly anticipated. Our communications industry is in desperate need of a shake-up. However Virgin Mobile is having some teething problems; in particular, poorly trained (or poorly informed) call centre staff, unreliable data services and unrewarding V rewards.

We need a miracle. We were hoping for the Immaculate Conception, instead it seems we have an immaculate abortion. Please come over here and sort this out!

Yours

Well said ginggs. I understand how and what you feel. I don't have a problem with anything you said in your post. Yes, maybe I'm "acting like an over-zealous school prefect", but I just saw an oppurtunity to help a group of people and did it. All complaints ever sent to me was forward to Virgin Mobile the exact same way as I received it from you guys. If they didn't log the complaints then it's not my fault. I did my part, I won't say "job" otherwise I have to hear from Skeptik that I work for Virgin Mobile.

After I have been "attacked" by some of the guys on the forum I thought it would be best to contact Virgin Mobile and asked them if it is fine if I publish their contact details on the forum. I got a reply saying: "Sure thing, no problem".

So after that everyone is free to contact them theirselves although I will still help if someone ask me for help.

No hard feelings bro.

Regards
Piesang

PS. I wish I could forward your "e-mail" to Richard Branson, but unfortunately I don't have his e-mail address. :D :p ;)

Yeah - good work Piesang. And I share your point of view. Personally I still hold to the view that despite the more than average teething problems, I will support VM out of a desire to see more balance in this country. We whinge and moan about the other SP's and their contracts and hidden agenda, but we still complain about the newbie. Before anyone says it, I agree that VM shouldn't get away with poor service, but I still believe you are doing a bril job with offering you services FREE OF CHARGE.
IMO VM should offer you a nice cushy job. :)

PS. I wish I could forward your "e-mail" to Richard Branson, but unfortunately I don't have his e-mail address. :D :p ;)

I did some searching and found one can reach him on the following address:
[email protected], and mark it for the attention of Sir Richard Branson.

Alternatively one can send a letter to:
Sir Richard Branson
Virgin Management Limited
120 Campden Hill Road
London W8 7AR

I think I'd better change the salutation before I send the email.

EDIT: I have sent email, will post if I get a response.

Has anyone contacted VM on their email from the local web page? Pointed them to this thread? They do respond to emails.
