virgin mobile - just like the rest?

i refer to this from their website:

Mix mobile with hi-fidelity sound and you get the Nokia N91. Pay it off for less than R200 a month on a V100 Plan.

then you think mmmmmm thats not bad. but then you look at the actual details:

Monthly Charges
Monthly Phone Plan installments over 24 months = R225.83 p/m
V100 Plan minimum monthly payment = R100.00 p/m
(This is the minimum payment for airtime. If you use less it will be rolled over. If you use more your bill will reflect the additional charges you've incurred).

Minimum total due is R325.83 per month

so now unless my maths is going down the tubes, R225 is more than R200?

Thats a typo - its on their main page as R325.83 pm.
Just phoned them - it is a typo - they will fix it.

Pity - you probably could have got it ad the advertised price if you'd kicked up enough of a fuss but now they're going to fix it.

okay explain for me, the have 4 "great deals". have a look at them, only ONE of them is actually how it says it is. the other's all out by about R4 to R25 rand per month? dont someone check these things?

Sounds like Virgin are being very sloppy. When they reduced their sms rates, their website still reflected their previous charge. There have also been a lot of complaints on hellopeter.com about their service. I can understand the low service levels, since all the networks seem to condone this, but they should stop making promises about being "better" than the rest. It's simply untrue!

Dont go for the N91 its been nothing but trouble to most of the users who i know who have it. They just freeze, die when they feel like it and u cant remove the battery if the phone is on as u will kill the harddrive, oh and yes its a phone with a harddrive bad idea!!!
