Virgin Mobile: Vodacom doesn't allow roaming anymore

Hi there guys

Anyone else having a problem with roaming on the Vodacom network? I've done it plenty of times before but since last week I'm not able to connect with my VM sim while roaming on Vodacom.

No problems this side. The cellC signal is very weak here--I've locked my phone on vodacom and been using like that since I got my virgin simcard.

Not that I've noticed but on Virgin/Cell C itself most of the time anyway. It won't let you register on the network or won't let you make a data connection?

It registers but don't allow a connection.

I am able to Register on Vodacom and make a call with VirginMobile - no problems - just tested it! I didnt know one can do it; thanks for the useful information.

Just registered manually on Vodacom with a Virgin sim to try it and I can register with the network, make calls, even make a GPRS connection but just can't send any data. Its the same as if Virgin's GPRS was down but its fine on the Cell C network.
