Virgin no more...

Seriously though, you will most probably get it reversed. In the last 2 years I've had my Mastercard abused (ahem ) twice after buying flight tickets online. The first time someone flew from somewhere in Africa to the UK. They reversed that, and it was quite a considerable amount. Earlier this year some turd bought apps for his phone on my card. Only figured it out a few weeks and loads of apps later :D

So now I watch my card like a hawk whenever I buy online.

I bought a train ticket myself in Italy on my standard bank ATM card. They allowed the payment, and then blocked my card without as much as a courtesy call. I was sooooo mad at them!

So after my new (pink!) credit card was delivered today, I went to have a look at my statement...

The payment has already been reversed! It was the exact amount originally charged, as well. With no other fees I could see, either.

I still don't have clue as to how my card was compromised, but I'll just have to be even more careful in future.

Thanks for the advice, everyone.

Hi VioletF

I trust you are well.

By now you may have come to understand the sheer disappointment of many fellow mybb members with regards to your thread "Virgin no more...". Having read the replies to the thread since its inception, it does seem like purposeful deception on your part. What's worse is that it you have showed no remorse for your actions and as a result, many mybb members have suffered tremendous heartache during this time. I'm sure you can understand what they must be going through. Please also note that no one really cares about the credit card issues you have experienced. Mybb members only came here for one thing... and they were misled. This kind of false advertising is simply not acceptable and speaks volumes about your character. In future, please refrain from such purposeful deception. This kind of practice is not only unprofessional, but also highly unethical. Think about the poor, horny, fellow mybb members that have suffered this fate at your hands. How anyone can impart such pain on another, fellow human being is beyond my comprehension. I urge you to please reconsider your actions going forward.

I trust that my message will be well received and that together, we can do things better, going forward, especially thread titles.

Thank you for understanding.

Kind Regards,
mybb members

My card also got compromised. The first time ever that I had a bad experience. It was used on the internet and funny enough when I had no funds available. The second coincidence was that this happened just after my new credit card was delivered to replace the old one. I have a feeling that there may be insiders involved.

The worse part of the experience was that I had to print a document, complete it and fax it to them. And then they never received the first one and had to redo the whole process. Extremely antiquated way in modern days and times!

Well the only way she can redeem herself is by sharing with us the details of her first time.
