can you believe it!!!!!!!

I got a virus that deleted my symantec 10, peerguardian, system restore, dvd drivers and had the audacity to then try to give me bsod on start-up and then a ntoskernel.exe login failure...eishhhh:mad:

but hehehe I'm not a BOFH but I can hack too:D

Just killed it with a windows repair and my slipstream install with a mcafee enterprise fix

I installed AVG ... deleted my Crysis CD-Crack so I don't need to use the CD ...

Do I remember reading that AVG is no longer free ? I hope not.

Norton!!! aaaarrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh :)

AVG still has a free version! Been using free ver. for years never had a problem!

The virus was the "beagle" virus.....WTH....Norton didn't catch it realtime.

but hey at least its sorted out now and I have easter weekend to myself ..hehehe

Ya, Norton also didn't catch the Opaserv worm...

in those days we made note of what files the opaserv worm created (brasil.exe, brasil.pif etc) and then just create empty, readonly directories so the virus could not write a copy of itself to disk.

Am using AVG Free at home, and McAfee at work. (kicked norton out).
