Kaspersky 2011 ran my automated daily PC scan and there were 4 x alerts of Trojan viruses.

My question:

The report lists 2 of them as being "postponed" and "untreated" by Kaspersky and the other 2 were "detected".

What does this mean and is there something I can / should do, or has Kasperksy done all it can in this situation?

Thanks :)

That may be a false-positive. Sometimes happens after a definition update. Best thing is to check their forums and compare the virus it detected to what's being listed on the forum.

Removals are postponed if the system is using those particular files- for example, if the viruses infect system files that Windows is using. Depending on the location, a reboot will likely help clear up the issues. If not, check out the forums at http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showforum=19 with how to post your system info (first topic) in order to get suggestions as to what to do.
