Visagan Naidoo is the Citizenship Lead at Microsoft South Africa
Vis joined Microsoft South Africa in June 2008 as the Citizenship Lead. In his role, he works to enable sustained social and economic opportunities for communities through strong public and private partnerships. His role further supports the business segments of Microsoft SA.
Before joining Microsoft, he worked for an NGO focused on the development of digital content for the education and health systems in South Africa and other African countries.
Vis graduated with a BSc from the University of Natal and also holds a Post-Graduate diploma in Adult Education from the same institution and a Masters in education from Manchester University in the UK. His first job was with an NGO called the Midlands Information Centre and Research Unit. He has subsequently worked for the South Africa government, University, NGO and with an international Intergovernmental Agency.
Vis is married to Rebecca and has a son, Dylan. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, going to gym and plays competitive beach volleyball.
