Vista CD/DVD replacement?

Email MS S.A and ask for a replacement, they should only ask for the shipping fee ;)

IMO it's better to through Microsoft South Africa, cost reduces and it gets here "safer", just take a look at my Ubuntu photo's in the photo section, all discs were shattered ;)

Microsoft used pretty decent packaging for my disc. No scratches.

Recently I had to reinstall...first time in 3 years :o...Only then did I realize that, being an OEM PC, I didnt have an install disc..So I went to a computer shop...not sure what it was called, but it was near "Sunrise Sweets". They burned the install disc for me, and just charged R40 for it... :)

Losing install disks is a major PITA

some bugger made off with recovery discs for some machines here, thinking he/she get a free winders copy... but these recovery CD's are keyed to the machine's BIOS so installing it on a different PC just won't work...

Unless of cause you use a workaround? ;)

You can still use a normal install disc... I did anyway :D Although, mine was XP...I'm sure you can still get a Vista disc...
