Vista Product Activation causing headaches for Microsoft

Windows XP is being used by millions of people and why would they be using it if it's not any good? Personally I've been using Windows XP for five years and think it's absolutely fantastic - never had any problems with it and since Windows 2000 the 'BSOD' is something I haven't seen often.

Why do you pay for Windows? Because if you have a problem with your Microsoft OS/Apps, you can phone Microsoft and they'll resolve it - we've tried them before and they sorted us out in no time (Microsoft support based in Ireland).

Mabye T_L can rewrite BeOS and then he doesn't have to use Windows, Linux or OSX? :p

The next invalid to harp about the apparent MS DRM needs to get molested. The next sub species to bellow about how DX10 forces you to use Vista without understanding anything about DX10/DX9 needs to off himself.
Finally the next lump of flesh to punt linux over windows needs to slap they mama for not getting their fair share of a brain.

Now I wish pirates would just once trying buying an operating system . It is the right thing to do after all. By pirating you're not championing some cause for poor kids or whatever, you're stealing.
 
My mama has duly been slapped, There are certain enviroments where Linux is better like the web server and or database server. Apart from that it's difficult to use and reuqires a high degree of technical knowledge to operate effectively.

Don't be so hard on the guy please, he's an OOM by now, If I remember correctly he's about 38 or something, so he's definitely not a young guy.

Tera, it just irritates me when people make stoopid statements.

I made good money in the UK, supporting Microsoft products. If it wasn't for Bill & his Windows OS, I would not have been able to live like a king in London.
 
hehe, I second that kingrob, I luuurve MS for making things go wrong at times. I mean, if PC's worked all the time, and we were all using Linux, and since Linux system requirements are so low, ppl wouldnt buy half as much hardware. I would be completely broke (not that I am not broke now - life as a student sux) but it would have been a lot workse :P
 
Lol, I actually do agree, I just think that Librarian made a comment that you find in at least 3 out of 10 people, so there's no reason to crucify the poor man ;) :p :D LOL!

I love M$ too mic_y, it's good to make a few bucks, but I will say this: user error, that's the reason most pc's bust up, an OS in itself doesn't have many issues, it's when the user takes it one notch beyond ;)
