Vista SP1

I did a search and possibly missed the thread. I have bought a laptop (comes with Vista Home Basic). I am not planning on using Vista but instead Linux. But I have paid for the MS product so I would like to get full value from it (I tried to get a discount by saying I don't want Vista but as one can expect that didn't fly). Where can I get SP1 locally?

Tip:

Any Microsoft download, which comes from a Microsoft server is downloadable on local bandwidth. Get the download link with an international account and add it to your download manager. Switch to local and download.

Microsoft sites don't usually work on local, but their files run through Akamai (network provider in laymans terms). Even Windows Updates runs on local.
