Hi there people of the rainbow nation!

Where do you people get your supply of vitamins from?
Is there an online shop that sells the good stuff?

Thanks!

I see takealot has recently also started selling it but prices are not better than normal shops.

From healthy eating.

From healthy eating.

+1. If you are eating correctly you do not need vitamins. If you are not eating correctly, then vitamins are not a substitute for healthy eating. Buy a juicer and make your own juices from vegetables and fruits (but not too much fruit, they contain a lot of sugar). You will get all the vitamins you need from that, plus fibre, minerals and lots of other goodies your body is missing.

I promise you, mix some apple, carrots, celery, kale (a kind of leafy vegetable similar to spinach) and ginger together and you can make the most awesome juice. It's worlds apart from canned tomato juice, I promise you!

Well, there's some value to taking a multi-vitamin but the human body can only absord so much. What you're buying here are the ingredients for very expensive urine.

I get my nutrients from food. There is a place for vitamin supplements, but don't presume because some is good more is better.

They are utterly disgusting. I stick to fruit juices.

That sounds even more disgusting and nausea-inducing.

Well I try to eat healthy, but I also take a multi-vit...just in case I miss something crucial somewhere - as a fall back of sorts.

I'm not convinced one can cover all one's bases purely by eating healthily.

Vitamins supplements are a waste of time and money unless you have specific health issues
