Viva La Revolution, not

That doesn’t mean to say that there is a fight behind every corner.

In the SA retail space there is a fight around most corners. ;)

But I think you need to look at some of the positive threads around - maybe you missed them? See how many people here defend WebAfrica and Openweb when someone tries a rant against them, for example.

Hehe, I read that thread ...... man, it was like a riot in there  Good blog :D

Hey I did not write that.. who is imitating me! :)

I agree wholeheartedly... as many would assume I would.

It’s gotten to the point where I get excited about publishing bad news, because at least then everybody is on the same side.Try telling them something good on the other hand, and you have a virtual riot on your hands!

That just about sums it up really.... Good on you Nic!

If we run around with an anti-every-company-making-profit attitude, then, well, we just look silly.[/url]

Nonsense. If we run around applauding every begrudging token thown our way by the corporates, well, then we really do look silly.

I beg to differ. In fact a famous children's fable comes to mind here, the boy who cried wolf. The same principle still applies. If you b_tch and moan about every little thing, then eventually when something really bad does happen no one is going to listen to....

Often when people moan on here it has been shown that the b_tching is often not justified, and that is part of the problem. The immediate response of most South Africans now is to moan first, find out the facts later. It is no wonder we are developing a bit of a reputation as being whingers....

You really should ask your shrink to reduce your dosage of happy pills.

Well I have no need for them but perhaps I can get you some you? Keep crying wolf... eventually no one will hear your moans.

Two months in and someone is already aware enough of the moaning on this forum to write a blog post about it. At least this affirms what I have been saying for a while....

Good blog!

Allow me to differ. It's actually an excellent blog :D

I think what most people fail to realise is that in life it is preferable to be reasonable and well balanced.

Throwing your toys out of the cot every five minutes gets you nowhere. Fast. ;)
