I heard that a major update for VLC was coming i didn't know it would be so soon, will see if its good enough to stop me using POTplayer, the best media player i have tried so far...

They didn't overhaul everything. The interface looks about 99% the way it used to before.

VLC player... since I started getting involved with avi rips,mkvs and all those files back in the day,some of them would just fail to open in everything. Throw the file at VLC and it worked everytime thanks I will get this one for sure.

I want to try POTplayer though, it goes perfectly with one of my habits

Its amazing, switching through or between videos is super quick (even quicker than vlc)...and i even get to keep GOMplayers icons

I saw on their forum that they said the volume increase is now non-linear, so 200% is the new 400% Max volume in both cases should be the same.
