Vodacom 300GB + 400GB Feedback

Yes on my b618 no service at all .I called Vodacom said can only use the router they gave which is the act router

Cause my cellc uses same band has Vodacom 1800 band so nothing wrong with router cause it's working .I am looking to cancel and take the 300 gig because I get over 100 megs plus use any router.

As far as I can tell the 300GB is not tower/location locked.

I was told u cant do Data share on a "Top Up" contract which the 300GB one is.

I tried it now only 3g get about 4 megs.

Got home working as it should 20Mbps, this is address is registed the deal with, maybe thats why its faster here.
The signal is worse than what it is at my office.

Internet is snappy and def faster than supersonic.

Also only 19ms ping on speedtest, so much better than supersonic due to local routing.

What a relief. So what happens when one decides to move somewhere else, go into the shop and let them unlock it again with a new address?

Alcatel router, I went to website and just added it just need phone number and sim number. Using lte.vodacom.co.za apn

I asked the guy at the shop. He just said to call him and give the new address and he will change it.

We asked because my in laws are going to cpt for a few weeks later this month and the guy at the store said they can change the address while they there, then change it back when they get back
