Vodacom 3G = Virgin Mobile EDGE

Vodacom are catching up very quickly with Virgin. There data network is so pathetic how can they even call it broadband? every night is gets slower and more DNS timeouts then ever! the uploads well lets just say Virgin wins that round. I am tired of complaining and getting Ref numbers from 155. If i have to phone that call center once more i will make a scene. So my advise to anyone who is Considering get this so called "Mobile Broadband" from Vodacom

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE VODACOM!!!!!

MTN THE BETTER OPTION!!!!!!!

Best of all when there service is broken we still have to pay, I want to know for WHAT???

IC Please don't comment i want V3G to comment. either i want this sorted out next week for sure or Vodacom can shove there modem and sim in there glory hole.:mad: Since day ONE i have had problems with Vodacom, either it is handset, billing, network, or something new every time i look! Cell C to DATE have offered me the best service ever. never had a blue moon.

I've also spoken to the supports guys that called you 2 weeks or so ago but they informed me that you never made contact with them again?

Also, can you confirm if you moved recently? From what I can see you moved from Vryheid to Richmond and the coverage map show there is not 3G coverage there?

i have not moved as yet, and i got the call from lunge which i have been waiting for. to confirm if they will be sorting there GPRS out in that area. because when i am there it sucks. i get a maximum of 2kbps downlink. if the basestation is congested thats not my problem. Vodacom need to sort it out. i also asked seening as i will never be able to really use my huawei E200 there would vodacom downgrade the contract to a data messanger PLUS 40mb? and i was told i will have to pay in R2000. The funny thing is that it is one of the offers at vodashop you can get a E220 on Data Messanger plus. oh yes and 155 toke the wrong cell number which made it hard to get hold of me.

YOU KNOW SCREW IT I WILL JUST PAY AND SHUT UP LIKE VODACOM EXPECTS ME TO, NO POINT IN GETTING WORKED UP. THIS IS A LOSING BATTLE.

I DON'T WISH BAD THINGS, BUT I DON'T WISH VODACOM WELL.
