Vodacom and Blackberry?

hahahaha. One less evil incarnate phone to worry about! :-) Now, make sure he gets a Blackberry as a replacement. :-)

No, it works perfectly...it's just the rear that's smashed and the front is fine. He's happy to use the phone like that. It was less than 4 weeks old at the time.

Hey guys, don't be so androidish towards iPhone users! BlackBerry users know better. :D

Perhaps u are right. I just feel strongly about bb world domination! :-)

@bwana...I have a idea how u can redeem ureself as a double agent. I don't like the fact that there is a iphone app for mybroadband and not for blackberry. Whatcha gonna do about that for us????? :-)

Posted on bb 9300. :-)

hehehe, my brother in law is an Apple fanboi...I'm sure we are gonna have even more "debates" now ;)
In the end I suppose it depends what you want to do with a phone. Do you play more games and fiddle with apps (iPhone/Android) or do you spend more time communicating with friends, family and colleagues (Blackberry).
I have a PS3 and a Nintendo DS so I am fine in that department - so for me the communicating part is more important.

I would like to quote ****mydadsays.com "it's a **** phone son, you just bought it...anyone can do that! It doesn't make you special!"

Just make sure you're not in Gauteng.

You'll notice that those in this and other threads, those with a decent, working service are at the coast. I'm down at least 70%-80% of the time in Randpark Ridge. On a weekend I can easily rack up a few hours of downtime.

When I did a physical test of my downtime last week from 19:30 - 22:30, I was down 40+ minutes. As I type this, I'm down - and have been for about 15 minutes. This is WITH my full signal.

My brother in Jackal Creek (North Riding) is down the same or worse than me.

In summary, make sure where you are ;)

I've live with fact I have a BB phone but I don't have BB services. Those times that BIS is up and running is simply a bonus and I use those times to my advantage.

I'm bound to paying Vodacom for 18 more months of low-to-non existent service (I do it with my data too ...) - but I'm hoping to get a fair share of clients to never make use of the service in Johannesburg. From my 18 BB contacts, I have 12 from other networks that have seen my issues first hand and vowed never to come near to Vodacom BIS.
