Vodacom and Cell C diss Rain over fixed-LTE

Vodacom and Cell C have taken aim at Rain over its decision to halt fixed-LTE product sales from 1 November 2018.

The company recently said the popularity of its mobile products and its strong fixed-LTE sales have put strain on its network, requiring it to manage its network capacity by temporarily halting fixed-LTE sales.

Good will be cancelling my Rain as well network sucks the last 2 months.

I am sorry but I am gonna need Cell C to take several seats. Thank goodness one can roam onto Vodacom 3G in East London.

so its then will offload excess traffic to Rain but then diss them in public tsk tsk

I had a friend come over had 120Mbps on a MTN network with he's cellphone. amazing if could have that 24/7.

Rain and Vodacom is the same infrastructure so their diss is a bit...in bad taste.

Fixed LTE is of no interest or use to me, I have fast FTTH instead, but Rain's mobile data is. I hope there's no drought forecast on that front.
