Hi there,

Im currently testing a client/server based application that uses TCP for communication on my blackberry phone.

For this to work correctly (after alot of reading), i need to set my APN config on my blackberry.

I need to know the vodacom APN so that i can configure it.

APN: ???
Username: ???
Password: ???

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

APN is internet. no password or username needed

apn = internet works for all SA networks except for Virgin Mobile (which uses apn = vdata, IIRC).

Thanks been trying to figure this out for a while now hehe

if i put on APN do all my connection go through it or just the ones that require direct tcp/http connections

Bump. Anyone know the answer to this?

It will charge you now if you have BES or BIS.
BB uses its own APN, the internet APN uses data.
