Vodacom today announced it will offer the iPhone 4S to customers in South Africa beginning 16 December.

iPhone 4S will be available starting from R7,699 for the 16GB model, R8,999 for the 32GB model and R10,299 for the 64GB model in Vodacom retail stores.

Anyone know what the requirements for taking out a contract as a business are? I'm guessing it's copy of ID, letterhead asking for the contract, 3 months bank statements, proof of ID - anything else?

These deals look way better than the MTN ones.. hrm, i might switch over to Vodacom again :erm: but it depends what the cost of international roaming as i might need that and additional data bundles.

Depends where you go. When I'm in the UK I just pick up a local SIM card.

I managed to track down a handset at a Cape Town Vodacom Shop but they know nothing about the Iphone Talk 240 @ R549.
Does anyone know how to get this deal? I have also pre-registered and have not received anything more that an sms.
