Firstly - when i signed up for 2 deals, i was denied, and told i could only get 1....when i called to fight with them, the lady told me that an application for 2 lines was NEVER put through, and it was too late to change or cancel the application. I fought more, and was told I have to wait 6 months to try apply again.....AND I KEEP GETTING MESSAGES FROM VODACOM OFFERING ME CONTRACTS!

NOW - I get spammed with messages, saying if i RICA, i will receive airtime.....now i call in, and no one can give me answers as to why I have not received the airtime i was promised. I was rica'd last week....and nothing......they even told me i was lying the first time I called in, and asked when i received the messages cause they want to see them!!!!!!

( Oh and if you got an issue with Vodacom, dont bother posting on hello peter, cause they give you a REF number.....but never bother to call you back.......SIS on you Vodacom! )

Is this the kind of service I can expect from Vodacom in the future?????
VODACOM.....tell me why i should re new my contract with you? What makes you better than the other providers? Cause it is sure as hell not your service!
 
PM your details to VodacomData and see if he can help you out.
 
@ acks my sentiments exactly and i will be taking out my 2 contracts with someone else as soon as the phones are launched bye bye vodacom and all your lies as to date i still don't have my refunds they promised
like 4 months ago cheating backstabing people and yes that is what u can expect from them in future as they been like this since january and and i don't see them turning around.
but morkhans is right pm vodacomdata and maybe they can assist u
as so far no has assisted me except given me more stories and lies
 
272 views already...and a vodacom Rep has not bothered to even respond to this......WOW....those 272 people who viewed this must be really impressed! Keep up the great work Vodacom!

( oh, since my FIRST call on Monday......no-one has even bothered getting back to me.....1st class service here.....Makes me want to be a loyal member for ANOTHER 6 years...... )
 
Al360 - Iv been chasing Vodacom since Monday - I could easily PM other users and give all my info, BUT......Why do Vodacom customers ALWAYS have to run around after them? Its like they do not care about their customers......Surely good business practice would be to look after ones customers, and going the extra mile to ensure they are happy, and remain customers....after all.....without its customers, a company is nothing. Looks to me like Vodacom WANT to loose their customers, one by one. I know for one I will not recommend them......I mean, I applied for a contract for the lady from MTN, and within 10 minutes I was approved, and in 2 days I had received the phone, ( DELIVERED TO ME, IN MY HANDS FREE OF CHARGE ) where with Vodacom you wait a week before calling to find out where your goods are, and then get given stories as to why they still havnt dispatched yet......( YES, THIS JUST HAPPENED TO AT LEAST 3 OTHER PEOPLE I KNOW, AND MYSELF )

Its like having a 2 year old.....constantly having to run after them checking for poop and cleaning their back sides.

It is not about just having a random rant. I HAVE taken action, and HAVE followed the steps to resolve this.

I have taken your advice and sent the PM, and will wait for a response.
I have seen threads where VodacomData has sorted out many issues, however, its the people who are saying that its because "there
is a problem with the loading of the airtime and we do not know why" ( the people he/she would have to pressure and follow up on )
that make me question whether or not i actually wanna keep fighting on a continuous basis with my provider, or just get another...

He can only fix things he knows about. If you can give him enough details of the people you've dealt with he should be able to identify them. I know also in the past he has been able to listen to the recording of conversations with customer service.

All the other providers have their own challenges with customer service at least with Vodacom and Cell C the forum reps can make things easier.

i so agree !! i feel your pain and vodacom need to suffer for their sins of ill treating their customers i said the same thing on other forums and they all agree so people need to stop defendign vodacom when they have no leg to stand on and start coming up with solutions as we have followed the channels provided to us and yet we are no closer to a resolution than we are to mars
 
If I'm reading this correctly, the shop where suppose to credit vet you for 2 lines, not just one, and you where declined? What reason did they provide? Keep in mind if you're not approved for one line, it's no use re-applying for two.

Yesterday was a crazy day , but like Morkhans said , if i dont get the info , there is really nothing much i can do about it.

ANY company has the RIGHT in terms of of the National Credit Act to approve/decline your credit purchase application after applying the credit vetting process as stippulated by this Act. In the case of being declined provide the reason therefore and this applies to all companies.

So ACKS what was the reason for your declined application for a credit purchase from Vodacom?
Supply this info before you rant and bad mouth please!!

fair enough but vodacom's process and attitude seriously needs to be adressed whether there was a point or not as their attitudes stink and the process between departments is non existant hence no one know's what the other department is doing and that department can't do it cause its that departments jurisdiction like seriously this is 2011 not 1978 where u could get away with poor crm systems especially when you want to claim to be the best SP in SA and rip people off at the same time

• I was told, I only qualify for one ( reason i got declined for two....Apparently they could not tell me as they didnt know.... )

of the legalities regarding finance and advertising.

Im PEE'D OFF that I can get SPAMMED MORE THAN TWICE A DAY, SAYING IF I RICA, THERE IS A RICA REWARD, AND WHEN IT COME TO RECEIVING THE RICA REWARD, I GET TOLD NO IM LYING and they want to SEE these massages ( which yea, iv got )......
At the end of the day, DONT MAKE PROMISES YOU NOT WILLING TO HONOR......its THAT simple.

There is this old age rule when purchasing anything from anyone namely "CAVEAT EMPTOR" = LET THE BUYER BEWARE. The application of this rule in the Mobile Network senario is extremely important, thus looking through the "BULLSH*T of Branding" by networks etc. and focusing on the science of your product is preventative of being stung.

If any sales person does not come up to standards the next step is the MANAGER and if he cannot help then the MANAGING DIRECTOR, if no resolution then SMALL CLAIMS COURT and then the public mediums like this forum.

Lastly without ranting put your problem in chronological order and kindly request the assistance of "VodacomData".

Proseal....you make me laugh....have you EVER asked a call centre to talk to their manager? They wont even let you talk to a team leader....you got to be dreaming if you think they will let you talk to a manager.....

And....how much clearer do you want me to post....everything is clear as day. READ the posts, and you will see the order is very clear.
