Mr. Alan Knott-Craig mislead the alumni. and just
like his buddies across the hallways he does not tell the truth,
nor does he provide a truthful picture of Telkom or his company.
He talks of rewarding excellence - suggesting Telkom excellence.
Of course this concept is correct and makes perfect sense.
The true picture is much different :
Make a law - monopoly - outsource the skills at exhorbitant cost,
shut out any competition and you can do nothing but succeed.
But Telkom have failed and they have failed dismally, ... why ??
Telkom enjoys massively over-inflated income for the services they provide.
If you took the telkom model and placed it in the state of Arizona, and
gave "Telkom in Arizona" THE CURRENT PRICES PAID IN ARIZONA,...
and yes, the customer numbers they have here......
"Telkom in Arizona" would produce a loss in excess of R10BN per ANNUM.
This is what Knott-Craig calls excellence.
Wonder how "Vodacom in Arizona" would perform ?
