Vodacom billing error?

Hi

I'm on the 2gb + 2gb promotion.

I was charged R82 last month for usage at 01:52 during Night Owl time, but at the end of the month I still had 388mb of Night Owl data remaining?

This month my bill is already at R352, but I still have 762mb remaining. And I don't use it for sms or calling.

Not a great experience so far, as my modem also stopped working after two weeks.

Can VodacomData perhaps assist me?

PM me the 3G number that you are reffering to and I will check on the system to see if there was a error.

Can you assist me as well??? Please see my thread "in a state of shock" I started it at the edn of last month, and have just posted again as for teh 2nd month in a row I have just had R1701.08 taken off my bank account and yet nobody from vodacom has bothered to get back to me about my original query a month ago!!!

Hi elLOL. I have responded to you via PM. I have picked up the discrepancy on my system and have forwarded your number and my findings to VodacomData with data pulled from your billing to verify what I saw and take it further.

PS: I have also checked on your proposed invoice for this month and there is no extra data usage on your line at the moment and still have 487.79MB left in your normal data bundle. (might be delayed)

Hi elLoL

I have received your number from OC and had a look.I found no discrepancies on the account. The system reports on the very first internet session for the day , which was at 01:52am. This was during the night owl period and you had sufficient night owl remaining. The charge that is associated with that ticket was actually the browsing that took place after 10am that morning. I know it sounds a bit funny , but if you pm me your email address i will send the report to you to clarify.
