Got the account for January:

According to Vodacom4me I did not use 150 mb of my bundle

Vodacom charged me R 20 for data usage on my bill, so the unused megs in my bundle were not used

V3G - this is the second time and I am not going to spend an hour on the phone arguing for R 20 - but your system is clearly not 100%

call them are you pre-paid or contract cause they can check your itemized

What size & type of CDB did you have at the time that the R20 data usage charge relates to and if the R20 was for OOB usage, then what OOBR were you charged and how much data is involved...?

To clarify

Was using a 500mb bundle and I do not have itemised billing.

I did not use all of my bundle and thus do not care if I was charged out of bundle or not. Point is that I was charged for data with an undepleted bundle sitting pretty.

Insufficient clarification provided :(.

Bolt-On CDB or Ad-Hoc CDB?

Data Usage Monitoring for CDBs is not realtime, the info displayed on v4me can be hours out of date, and sometimes does not update at all. You need to be using a third-party data usage monitoring application installed on your PC and then comparing that with the dashboard s/w as well as v4me or MM SMSed to 31050.

If you are not using a 3rd-party data usage monitoring application [see the sticky thread], then you really don't know if you went out of bundle or not.

I recommend that you switch to using [searchforum]PPDB[/searchforum]s ASAP since Vodacom's PPDBs do have realtime data usage monitoring that updates almost immediately on v4me.

My mistake

IC, using datasim that is only available on contract - suggestion for PPDB will otherwise fix issue.

Was charged for December in February - satisfied that not VC mistake.
