Vodacom BIS down again

As of this morning BIS is completely dead!

Called the call center and they confirm

They don't know when it will be up and running again :confused: :twisted:

Mine was down, it briefly came back up, and now it's back down again
 
I just received all my emails...
Working for me...
 
A battery pull seemed to kickstart BIS but there's zero connectivity after that.
 
Ok its intermittent at the moment...
So BIS and BES affected...

Oh well...
 
Thank god. I thought i'm only BIS problem. No wonder when it back and running.

Oh by the way i'm New to these forum as i've been browsing these for year.
 
Its ridiculous! Why have the ease of this when they can't handle it! BIS seems to be more down thn up!
 
I just got off the phone with Vodacom Data Desk - one of the consultants informed me that the "Business Core Router" is down - I am not sure if this is the problem that is giving us endless issues on BIS - yesterday I noticed BIS was freaking slow - couldn't do jack... I wonder how long the ETA will be to resolve this issue without BIS life ain't the same I am so freaking addictive to blackberry service
 
This is really Ridiculous, especially for business people!!!
 
It seems to be MTN aswell our BES solution is completely down. We broke it yesterday when we installed the following MS critical patch:

Security Update for Windows Server 2008 x64 Edition (KB980436)
Download size: 360 KB
You may need to restart your computer for this update to take effect.

A uninstall and and reboot of the server seems to have fixed the issue. HAHA bet you MTN and Vodacom installed the patch on their BES servers broke everything !!
 
Yep still down here as well. Paarl.

Connected to wifi and then it seems to work, so it must be something on vodacoms side.

First time I've had issue in the 3 or 4 months that I've had my contract, so I don't quite understand those who keep saying it's down more than up?
