OS6 tends to be sent a duplicate BIS browser service book which then causes the phone to not be able to go on the internet. Go into your service books, delete the duplicate one (it will have a "2" in its name) and that should sort you out.
 
Even though the "BlackBerry Internet Browsing Service 2" Service Book is inactive?
 
Okay, deleted it. Browser seems to be working, I'll test it for a few days and give you feedback.
Immediate difference though: My browser doesn't give me the option to search Google straight off the home page.

Previously it said something like "Enter search term or address", now it just takes addresses. If I try to enter a search term it repeatedly gives me 404 errors because it goes looking for http:// mysearchterms .com

Correction: not 404 errors, sorry. Just a plain "requested URL could not be retrieved".
I always use the search option though. Any way to restore it?

Had the same issue, it is related to the browser not working and the service book 2. It will sort itself out, if you are lucky as soon as the next full reboot.
