Recently I've started noticing that unencrypted connections (http not https) no longer work on Vodacom data.

This seems to have escalated now to include voip registrations using the SIP protocol (port 5060).

Extensions seem to register on some Vodacom devices, but the majority don't work.

Anyone know whats going on?

Hi
We having the same issue,in what area are you

We are having the same problem with our Vox Vobi app. When we are on the Vodacom network, the numbers do not work. When switched over to fibre connection the numbers work again. Another weird thing is that one of the numbers redirects to someone elses number in JHB and we are in Cape Town (when on the Vodacom Network). All Vox is saying is that they cannot fix it from their end and that Vodacom must unblock Port 5060. Vodacom doesnt seem to know what to do either. The only other suggestion from Vox is to move from Vodacom to MTN or Cell C.

We are based in WC. You thinking it is area related? I thought it could maybe be associated with certain Vodacom packages, since some of our providers were able to test without issue.
