Hi,

Can anyone assist in moving our contracts from a personal name to a business name, the VOdacom Waterfront store has been useless in helping, is there anyone that specialises with businesses for Vodacom?

Thanks in advance

Then you will need the following docs to apply for a business account:

1. COMPANY REGISTRATION DOCS (VAT CERTIFICATE IF APPLICABLE ALSO TO BE INCLUDED)
2. ID DOCS FOR THE MEMBERS/DIRECTORS
3. 3 MONTH LATEST COMPANY BANK STATMENTS
4. BANK PROCESSED CHEQUE NOT OLDER THAN 60 DAYS
5. SURETY (THIS IS A VODACOM FORM THAT CAN BE OBTAINED FROM THE VODASHOP)
6. PROOF OF PHYSICAL ADDRESS FOR THE COMPANY.
7. COMPLETED BUSINESS APPLICATION (TO BE OBTAINED FROM THE VODASHOP)

You must inform the store that this is for a transfer of ownership and they must please give you the transfer of ownership form. This form must be completed by the signatory for the company aswell as by the individual from whom the line is being transfered from (ID for this persom must also be supplied and included with the application)

Once all docs are obtained and the vetting for the compan was succesful, then the store must send the documents to Vodacom in Midrand for the transfer to be completed. It could be that the other regional offices have people to do this but I only deal with my person in Midrand.

I hope you come right.

thx mate, i did all that, they took 2 weeks to come back to me and no clear result.

is there anyone senior i can speak to

Put in a complaint about the shop and ask for your docs back. Take the docs to another shop rather. You could also try a walk in customer centre. Think there is one in Canal Walk.
