vodacom Caller ID

I've just returned to Vodacom from Cell C and would like to know why I have to pay R9.50 per month to have Caller ID on my contract having never had to pay for this previously. This was not pointed out to me at the time I signed up and I feel Vodacom are screwing their customers - why can't my personal contact names be picked up by my phone's technology?:mad:
 
Caller line Identity have always been a separate and payable VAS for contract customers. On Cell C is also a VAS you need to pay for on contract if memory serves me right.
 
Should have returned as a prepaid customer - they get ALL the love!
