vodacom connection speeds / services

I have been having major problems with connection speeds on Vodacom, max service obtained is an edge connection. I used to get 3.5 connection, but something has gone wrong.

I have tried an MTN card, and have excellent connectivity, same hardware.

I have reported the fault to Vodacom, and followed up, all I get is pending.

The area is around the Mthatha region. Maybe we could all combine our experiences around SA so we all can get a good overall choice of who to get a data contract with.

For instance, this thread has taken me 11 minutes to submit, with nothing else utilising the net.

Sorry v3g, I seem to have clicked twice on submit, causing a double post. This was due to the long period, directly related to my connection speeds.

Have you reported the problem to 155? If it does not come right within the next day, send me the details as per my sig.
