no idea but..funny story about AKC .... back in the day, not sure if it is still the case...Vodacom's 08299 number range was reserved for VIPs and staff...so naturally AKC had 082990 1234...all of sudden right after VoiceMail service became free, he got all these voice messages, that would fill up his mailbox....long story short, part of the advertising campaign was to assist people in setting up their diverts to their voicemail..marketing material used 0829901234 as an example...basically people were setting their diverts to AKC mailbox.
 
You can bet Vodascum has offered most (if not all) the cANCer members free services. And we wonder why politicians aren't concerned about data prices. Fekkers aren't affected.

Free airtime, not ADSL (although that was probably free from Telkom), no problem with it for Mandela .... you can bet he and his family were very very well taken care of regards freebies from a multitude of companies. Doesn't mean his spongebob family should carry on reaping the rewards indefinitely.

Makes me wonder what else are they doing we the subscribers and public are not told about.

Wait, me and my people civil and human rights are violated by tyrannic government. I fight back, The government asks me to slow down and they might let me go and give me ideal life if not they will throw me in prison. After I refused to take their deal I am a terrorist? What nonsense is this? So American mules in Nazi Germany were terrorists? Anti ISIS tribes are terrorists? So basically any enemy of the state regardless of State's treatment to them is a terrorist? That being said, anyone who targets soft targets for political reasons is a terrorist in my book.

Yes, Mandela fit that description. But Mandela ALSO made amends in such a huge way that it completely overshadowed his past. Focusing on one aspect of his life (which was distasteful to him) does a great man a great disservice.
