so I did a quick comparison on data prices on vodacom, and Im actually totally floored that a company can be so arrogant!!

ive been with vodacom since the beginning... but Im starting to wonder.

cell-c have that dongle special 2GB x 12 months @ R1499

vodacom have their dongle special 100MB x 12 months @ R399

take into the equation that you gonna add your +- 2GB bundle onto your 100MB when it runs out (and it WILL run out) then you looking at the region of R5000 (ok about R3300 with the "double data promotion" for the equivalent that cell-c are offering at R1499

Can someone from Vodacom on this forum please explain to me how you can justify that?? :wtf:

According to Vodacom the Cell C prices are not sustainable.

However, the Cell C prices are soon to go into their second year ???
 
They will say that the cell c deal is a promo, and vodacom had a promo as well.

from what I understand cell c is selling below cost to attract users.
 
Well they said the promo will come to an end soon, I got myself another just in case...

I didn't know where you've been for the last year, but I'm sorry to say that you've been getting raped for awhile now.

If you got a compatible 900 UMTS modem, buy the sim card only, for R999 from Cell C.

My brother has actually been using his iPhone 4 as a modem with the Cell C R50 promo every week now. He's very happy with the DL speeds on his iPhone 4.

Vodacom's new so called prices has actually increased in certain packages/bundles.
