Vodacom Data bundle problems

Hello,

Can someone from Vodacom please assist me, i purchased a Vodacom data 1G bundle, and attempted to log on to internet using an E220 modem, i get an E619 error telling me i failed to log on to a remote computer.

I then decided to use my MTN SIM to connect, to see and it worked perfectly, I called the Vodacom data support and they have been trying to fix the problem for a week and half now, with no success. They informed me that there are more customers with the same problem.

Can vodacom resolve this issue soon, or refund me my money that i spent on the data bundle.

619 is the same as 734...means ppp link error. A) Sim card is not data activated or B) Access Point aka APN is incorrect! Set it to Internet. Post result :)
 
APN should be set to internet, not Internet.

Having said that, there are several possible causes for 619 errors, usually repeatedly attempting to connect will result in a connection being established - if not then more detail is required to diagnose the cause.
 
Register at www.vodacom4me.co.za and see if your bundle shows as active there.
Keep trying, as ic says - sometimes up to 5/10 tries will get you in.
Have you used this SIM before? If not, wait up to 24 hours for the SIM to be activated (sigh).
